Father Speaks

Thank you for visiting the Father Speaks web site! Father Speaks Ministries was birthed out of a desire to share the Father’s Love with as many people around this world as possible. The Bible says in Malachi 4:5-6, “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse." My wife Rose and I have been changed by this message!

In 1998, after having been a Christian for 23 years and a pastor for 13 years, I found myself depressed, suicidal, filled with rage, wanting to leave my wife and children to “escape” to Iowa to work on a pig farm (ironic isn’t it?), and spewing out hate and hurt to everyone around me. To say the least, I was at the end of my rope!

I “tried” all the “right things” to get God to love me and fix me. I would read as many chapters of the Bible I could and at times pray two or three hours a day. I would go on extended fasts just knowing that the Father would receive me and give me peace. I thought that if I could preach better, visit more or give more, everything would be better. Sadly, nothing helped and I became little more than a “human doing” rather than a “human being!” Then, someone gave us some tapes by a man named Jack Frost, who spoke about how much the Father loved us and how He wanted us to come into an experiential rather than just an intellectual experience with Him.

Since that time in 1998, my wife and I have been on a journey moving closer into the father’s heart. We have found the road to be challenging at times as we find along the way barriers of hurt and pain that try to hinder our receiving His unconditional love. But, without any hesitation, I can tell you that Daddy has been with us and carried us through it all! Today, we are miles from where we were in 1998 and not nearly where we will be tomorrow.
